2009 NHSScotland Event

The 2009 NHSScotland Event which was held on 16 – 17 June at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow attracted over 1000 delegates. It featured a high-quality programme, insightful speakers, informative exhibitions and numerous networking opportunities.

Open to those who work in and with the NHS in Scotland, the event benefited those who have an interest in improving health and healthcare in Scotland. The event was designed to:

Support the development of a cohesive strategic vision for NHSScotland;
Spread and share good practice;
Explore, learn and discuss applications for successful improvement and tools to support the sustainable delivery of continuous quality improvement.

One of the key features of the event was the launch of the new ambitious Healthcare Quality Strategy for NHSScotland which will be developed with the purpose of helping us to raise and sustain the quality of the healthcare services we provide in Scotland.
