These sessions will last approximately 40 mins and will cover the following topics:
Give Respect, Get Respect - Dignity at Work in NHSScotland
This session will provide participants with the outcomes and outputs to the recently completed Dignity at Work project undertaken by NHS Dumfries and Galloway and NHS Fife in partnership with Scottish Government Health Directorates. The session will also allow participants to explore both positive and negative behaviours that can be exhibited in the workplace. Participants will also have a better understanding the impact these behaviours can have on individuals and the organisation and the interventions required to address them.
Collaborating for Quality - The Quality Improvement Hub
NHS QIS and NHS NES are working in partnership with other Special NHS Boards and the Improvement Support Team to bring improvement science into the everyday language and work of the NHS in Scotland through a ‘Hub for Quality Improvement’. The essence of the Hub will be the quality improvement practitioners it brings together into a community to grow and learn together. This session sets out the proposals for the Hub and asks participants to shape its development to enable NHSScotland rise to the challenge of the Healthcare Quality Strategy.
ALISS - an innovative project to improve access to local information
Support to manage long term conditions may be on your doorstep, but can you find it? One participant in an ALISS workshop said “it took me two years to find out about a diabetes support group that was half a mile down the road….”
Accessing Local Information to Support Self management (ALISS) aims to fix this. Join us to hear about the creative and innovative processes used to encourage collaboration and test drive the ALISS working model.
