All resources from the NHS Scotland Event 2019 are now available on the Event website.

The NHS Scotland Event is the leading health event in Scotland. In its 14th year, the Event continues to be the ‘premier meeting place’ for those committed to providing sustainable high quality health and social care services for the people of Scotland.

1st April 2019

Registration is now live for the NHS Scotland Event 2019, which is being held on 30-31 May at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow. The theme of this year’s Event is ‘Working Together, Improving Outcomes’.

Every year, the Event provides the opportunity for those working in and with the NHS in Scotland to come together to consider the challenges, to share best practice and the most innovative approaches to delivering the highest quality of care, and to take away tools and techniques that will support them in their various roles.

If you have taken the time to submit a Poster Abstract for the NHS Scotland Event 2019, thank you. Entries have now closed. 

Over 400 abstracts have been submitted from NHS Scotland employees, our voluntary and partner organisations, and other public and private sector organisations on a number of aspects of work they are undertaking, with or on behalf of NHS Scotland.

If you have submitted a Poster Abstract you will be notified by 25 February 2019 if you’ve been successful in showcasing a Poster at the Event in May.

Next year’s NHS Scotland Event is being held on 30 and 31 May at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow. The title of the Event is ‘Working Together, Improving Outcomes’.

One of the key features at the Event is the poster exhibition and with over 500 innovative teams and individuals submitting their projects in 2018, this is a networking opportunity not to be missed.

Four plenary sessions are scheduled to take place over the two days of the NHS Scotland Event, with a range of inspiring speakers including some of the remarkable NHS staff who have made a contribution to Scotland's health service during the past 70 years. 

Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport will also take to the stage to celebrate some of the key achievements of the NHS since its inception and will highlight some lived examples of how services have improved for the people of Scotland.
