Posters

The NHSScotland Poster Exhibition forms an integral part of best practice, learning and sharing at the event. With over 450 innovative individuals and teams submitting their projects last year, this is a networking opportunity not to be missed.
This year’s poster exhibition will showcase a shortlist of 120 projects that are happening across NHSScotland to support the delivery of our Quality Strategy Ambitions.
Who can submit a poster abstract?
Submissions are welcome from NHSScotland employees, our voluntary and partner organisations and other public or private sector organisations on any aspect of work they are undertaking in, with or on behalf of NHSScotland. Abstracts which highlight collaborative solutions to improving the quality of healthcare in Scotland are welcome.
Why present a poster?
Don’t miss this opportunity to raise awareness of your project, showcase your achievements, gain recognition, share best practice and make new contacts.
Posters will be judged at the NHSScotland event and a winner will be selected in each poster category.
This year will also see the introduction of the People’s Choice Poster Award. This award will be voted for by the delegates at the event.
Authors of the winning posters will also be granted a study bursary allowance, funded by the Scottish Government. This will allow the winning individual or team to undertake further opportunities for development of their work by learning from other health and industry systems and bringing that knowledge back to share with colleagues in NHSScotland.
Previous bursary award winners have visited other healthcare organisations or industry partners, to learn about their approaches to quality improvement. These have included a visit to NHS Wales who have demonstrated remarkable improvement in countrywide pressure ulcer prevention and a study tour to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to learn about their hospital-wide safety briefing and safety index work.
