Dr Steven Tierney, Medical Director
Steve Tierney, MD, has worked for Southcentral Foundation since 1995. For the last eight years, he has served as the medical director for quality improvement, and has played a leadership role in developing the NUKA model or care including integrated care team and data support systems. He has spoken nationally and internationally on data integration, clinical quality program design and complementary medicine integration efforts.
Dr. Tierney is a board certified family physician and an acupuncturist, and still maintains an active family medicine practice at Southcentral Foundation’s Anchorage Native Primary Care Center.
